I lost all nerve function from the knees down, so I couldn’t lift my toes, move my feet, or feel anything. Every doctor was like, ‘sorry, we can fuse you or try to alleviate some pressure, but the nerves have been damaged—you’re SOL.’ Two years ago I could barely walk and now I can move my left foot.
