The first day I noticed changes in my gate and my speech. I was kind of second-guessing myself. Like ‘is this in my head? Do I really feel different?’ I got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and I was like ‘oh, I’m walking really fast, I better slow down, I don’t want to fall,’ and then I was like ‘wait a second—my body’s telling me I can do these things.’ It’s been fantastic.
